Support the Liza Angelicchio Memorial Scholarship Fund

A few years ago, the Chi Omega chapter was faced with the challenging situation of having a sister who was diagnosed with cancer. Her name is Liza Angellichio.  She was our own little wish child and her wish was to find a bone marrow donor.  The chapter hosted several events to promote “Be the Match” operated by the National Marrow Donor Program and the entire Greek community promoted #LizaStrong. In 2013, Liza received a bone-marrow transplant. Despite some improvements, she suffered several setbacks, including an extremely rare complication from the bone marrow transplant, and she lost her battle earlier this year. 

To honor Liza's life and her love for everything Morehead State, her love for Chi Omega and her love for the Greek community, the Morehead Area Chi Omega Alumni Chapter has started a scholarship in Liza's memory. This scholarship will be awarded to a current MSU student, with preference given to females who have demonstrated leadership on campus. 

Please consider a gift to support this project in Liza's memory. All gifts are fully tax-deductible as provided by law.  It is our hope to award the first scholarship in the Fall of 2017 and share Liza's legacy with others.
