Shelby Doran receives Liza Angelicchio Memorial Scholarship

Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, we have awarded the first Liza Angelicchio Memorial Scholarship! 

Shelby Doran, from Burlington, KY, has been awarded this special scholarship in Liza's memory. Shelby is a senior nursing student and the scholarship will give her the final push she needs to complete her degree. A Chi Omega herself, Shelby had the opportunity to meet and interact with Liza at Homecoming a few years ago and is honored to receive this special award.

The Liza Angelicchio Memorial Scholarship is helping me reach my goals and I am truly grateful, not only for the financial support it provides, but for the honor of being the recipient of this scholarship memorializing such a radiant human being like Liza. I encourage you to continue to supporting MSU students. I know Liza and this scholarship has already made such a difference in my life and I believe it will continue to do so for others for years to come!" - Shelby Doran

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be full-time students who have demonstrated outstanding academic qualification, as well as demonstrated campus involvement, with a preference of Greek organization membership.

THANK YOU! The original $5,000 goal for the Liza Angelicchio Memorial Scholarship Fund has been met thanks to many generous donors who wanted to honor Liza's memory. But although the goal has been met, the project doesn't have to end! 

Every dollar raised over the goal amount will further ensure that students will be awarded scholarships in Liza's memory for years to come.
